# fw

A fork of [ChrisTitusTech's firewallsetup][]. It's basically identical, except it works with flags instead of three separate files.

```
fw is a simple script to manage iptables with.
Syntax: fw [-h|u|r|d]
options:
-h    Print this help message.
-u    Add firewall rules.
-r    Reload firewall.
-d    Take down iptables.
```

## Dependencies

iptables won't be persistent by default, you need to be able to save your settings between reboots. On Debian and similar that would be:

`sudo apt install iptables-persistent`

Then when you have edited the rules, ran the script and want to save your rules run:

`sudo /etc/init.d/netfilter-persistent save`
